Sales Manager – Logistical Software
Are you...
excited about bringing new but proven technology to customers that enables them to look in the future of their logistics operations? Are you motivated by getting a better software product to the global (intra)logistics markets? Do you want to be a leading force in helping our 35-year-young company to accelerate growth in this new direction?
The Company
Our mission is to deliver software solutions that contribute to a safe and sustainable planet
InControl Enterprise Dynamics is a leading developer of simulation and digital twin software. We mainly focus on customers with large-scale or complex processes in Material Handling, Logistics and Supply Chain. That is where our software also distinguishes itself from existing alternatives. Our software platform is used worldwide for the analysis, optimization and management of critical infrastructures, industrial processes, and crowd management.
As part of our evolution, we are building applications on top of these digital twins. This allows us to add an extra audience as these applications can be used by operational managers (instead of simulation experts). Thereby increasing our addressable market. Our customers get a better product as the ability to look reliably in the future and respond fast to changes is absent in the planning software that is currently on the market.
Our customers use our software to test, plan and control large-scale systems and infrastructures, such as complex warehouses, baggage handling systems, supply chains, container terminals, assembly lines, sports stadiums.
A selection of our track record and software implementations:
- Supply Chain Control Tower for an US logistics customers with 300+ warehouses
- The distribution centre of one of the largest web shops in the Europe
- The entire railroad network and train handling in the Netherlands
- An hub-airport’s entire baggage handling system
- SAP integration to manage workflows in pharmaceutical material handling
- …. and much more.
InControl is a company that strongly believes in growth and offers its employees room for development. As an employee, you are part of a growing, international company with room for your input and ideas.
The Role
You will be spearheading the company’s transition from simulation projects towards an application centric business. InControl has a solid and long-term track record in excellent simulation software. Simulation experts (either from our customers or InControl’s own experts) work with this software. There is a strong market demand to build applications on top of the digital twin so the operational managers at our customers can use it. InControl is in the midst of this transition and already has a first application developed. The supply chain application covering both intralogistics (warehousing) as logistics (network) form this first product. Now it’s time to reap the commercial fruits of these investments and actively target additional customers for this application.
Customers: large organization with complex and/or very large physical operation flows that are (time) critical. Main markets: Material Handling, Intralogistics, Airports, Harbours, Transport/Logistics. Territory: Europe and Asia, with emphasis on Western Europe (current business is focussed in The Netherlands and DACH). Sales cycles: typically 2-6 months.
For this we seek a Dutch- and English speaking sales professional experienced in selling applications / SaaS solutions to the (intra)logistic market to large organisations. I.e. experience with selling software for warehousing/DC’s, material handling, logistics, supply chain, WMS or logistic ERP-integrations.
This role is pivotal to shaping the company’s future and growth.
